Up & Down One Path

Every circle can also be understood as the intersection of a sphere. As a step from three to two dimensions.
Conversely, from the curvature of a circle, imaginary spheres arise. Lenses with focal points at the centers of the spheres. As steps from two dimensions to three-dimensional space.

The ratio of the radii of the Moon and Earth (= 3/11) when brought down to two dimensions reveals another sacred relationship.
The area of the circle enclosing the Earth and Moon circles has a Golden Ratio relationship with the area of the Earth’s circle.

mage of the Earth and Moon united inside an enclosing golden ratio circle.

Lógos on Everything Under the Sun

When we refer to Lógos, we are referring to the Law governing the relations of things. Sizes, frequencies, geometric and linguistic patterns, distances – spatial and temporal – have relations among themselves and with other fields, explicit or implicit.
The Λόγοι [Lógi (plural of Lógos)] are the ones that govern and at the same time reveal the relations. They are detected in all manifestations of human knowledge.

  • As accordance, balance of parts of a whole
  • As a ratio of sizes and substances
  • As symmetry in forms, as harmony in sounds.
  • As an expression of the relations of everything among themselves and with the Whole
  • As an integral term of beauty
  • In form and content, in space and time.
